Holiferm, Organica to merge

Holiferm, a University of Manchester Innovation Factory spin-out that makes naturally derived biosurfactants, and Organica UK, a supplier of biodegradable and non-hazardous household laundry and cleaning products, have announced plans to merge with continuing financial backing from investor Sadorp. 

The companies have been based at adjacent sites in Wallasey, near Liverpool, since 2023. They said that combining will give them “room to expand production, accelerate joint innovation and pursue new growth opportunities together” and that the united entity will span ingredient development, advanced applications, product manufacturing and commercialisation.
