MFG Chemical has acquired AP Tech, a pioneer in the field of solid water treatment chemistry products that was founded in 1974 and is based in West Chester, Ohio. Terms were not disclosed. “Together, we now offer customers one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios of both liquid and solid water treatment solutions. This expanded capability enables us to deliver the best-fit chemistry for each unique application,” said Katie Lee, CEO of AP Tech

This follows MFG’s earlier acquisitions of Radical Polymers and Masters Chemical and further widens its range of proprietary products for water treatment.  CEO Paul Turgeon added that the company “will continue to pursue strategic acquisitions that expand our technology portfolio and strengthen our position across as a supplier to service companies”.
