Almac breaks ground on expansion
CDMO Almac Group has held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $65 million expansion project on its North American headquarters campus in Souderton, Pennsylvania. This comes just after the company announced record breaking financial results and confirmed that its global workforce has reached 7,000.
The new expansion will add 1,600 m2 of building space, about half of the current total at the site and will increase capacity by 60%. The focus is on cold chain operations, just-in-time processing, and analytical testing capabilities to support the development of advanced therapeutic medicinal products.
