BioDuro, Cenra launch API JV

US CRDMO BioDuro has formed a joint venture with Cenra API Solutions, a Taiwanese pharmaceutical chemical manufacturer. This will combine BioDuro’s strengths in early-stage drug development with Cenra’s in commercial-scale GMP API manufacturing.

The combined offer will span discovery chemistry, process R&D, regulatory starting materials, advanced intermediates and clinical- to commercial-scale API production, inside and outside mainland China. Cenra’s campus in Taipei has ten GMP API production lines with a total reactor volume of more than 350,000 L to support API output of up to 200 tonnes/year.
