Elessent emerges from DuPont

A private equity consortium made up of BroadPeak Global, Asia Green Fund and Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company (Dussur) has acquired DuPont’s Clean Technologies business and relaunched it under the name Elessent Clean Technologies. Eli Ben-Shoshan has been named as the new firm’s CEO.

Elessent is described as “a global leader in process technologies to drive sustainability and carbon neutrality” in industries including chemicals. It retains exclusive rights to the technologies, expertise and products of Clean Technologies, including MECS sulfuric acid and environmental technologies, Belco in scrubbing, Stratco in alkylation and IsoTherming in hydroprocessing.
