Symrise has held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of construction of a new logistics centre at its headquarters in Holzminden, Germany. Due to be completed in March 2028, this represents an investment of about €25 million and is part of the Vision 2035 infrastructure program, with which the company is making targeted investments at Holzminden.
The second phase will connect directly to the existing logistics building. It will house a fully automated, high-bay warehouse with around 10,000 shelf spaces measuring and a two-storey connecting building. The new centre will be operated by Symotion, Symrise’s wholly owned logistics service provider.
