New owner for Apollo

Titan Technology has reached a share purchase agreement with Japan’s Central Glass to acquire catalogue firm Apollo Scientific, subject to final completion and regulatory steps. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company said that it will continue to operate independently, but is also planning for significant investment from the new owner. This will include:

• Expanding the product range across key categories
• Holding more stock on site in the UK and the US
• Improving website functionality and ordering speed
• Automating core processes
