Harke acquires Vendico

Harke Group, a chemicals and plastics distributor based in Germany, acquired the Swedish-based Vendico Group, comprising Vendico Chemical, Inventicon and Omni International. Vendico represents several dozen leading manufacturers of chemical raw materials mainly in the personal care, home care and I&I sectors in Scandinavia, Iceland and the Baltic region.

Thorsten Harke, president of Harke Group (pictured), said that Vendico fits Harke Group perfectly, in terms of regional coverage and the product range and principals it represents, many of which many were already cooperating with Harke. “By combining the two company groups we can now offer an even better coverage and service to our customers and principals throughout Europe and Asia,” he said.
