Givaudan takes control at Eurofragance

Givaudan has reached a strategic agreement to take a majority stake in Barcelona-based fragrance house Eurofragance. Terms were not disclosed and closing is subject to the usual regulatory processes. Santiago Sabatés, who will remain as shareholder and chairman of Eurofragance, which will continue to operate as an independent brand.

“Eurofragance is a respected player with deep roots in fine fragrances and strong relationships in high-growth markets. By joining forces, we will further strengthen our combined capabilities and continue shaping the future of fine fragrance creation,” said Maurizio Volpi, president of fragrance and beauty at Givaudan.
