Following the resolution of a shareholders’ dispute, pigments and colours firm DyStar is now under the full ownership of China’s Zhejiang Longsheng Group. Following approval by the court-appointed receivers, Deloitte & Touche Financial Advisory Services, and closing took place on the same day, 30 December 2025.
Under a series of agreements, DyStar, Zhejiang Longsheng and the latter’s subsidiary, contributed $688.9 million, $425.5 million and $262.4 million respectively to acquire KIRI Industries’ 37.5% stake. This resolves all litigation between Zhejiang Longsheng and KIRI and the two directors appointed by KIRI have resigned. DyStar said that it “remains committed to transparency and will continue to engage openly with stakeholders as it embarks on its next phase of growth”.
