Axplora expands in India

Axplora has announced a “significant” investment at its site in Vizag, India (pictured), “to expand production capacity and reinforce supply chain resilience”. No financial details were given but the company said that this will raise output to meet growing demand for pharmaceutical ingredients and support vertically integrated production there.

The move follows the successful completion of routine FDA inspections
at both Vizag and Axplora’s other Indian manufacturing site in Chennaieach concluding with a Voluntary Action Indicated classification. Both are part of the PharmaZell business unit.
