The FECC Annual Congress is now recognised as a key event within the chemical distribution industry, where members come together to discuss current issues. This year’s Congress takes place at the InterContinental Warszawa Hotel, Warsaw, Poland from 12th to 14th June 2017.
FECC is the voice of the Chemical Distribution Industry in Europe. With a growing membership of companies and national associations, FECC represents around 1,600 companies. The chemical distribution industry in Europe employs more than 30,000 people and has an annual sales leverage of approximately €28 billion.
FECC and its members contribute to innovation and sustainability, as well as adding value in the supply chain, by sourcing, developing, marketing, and distributing a range of specialty chemicals and ingredients to over a million downstream users in the automotive, electronics, paint, construction, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and nutrition industries. FECC advocates to ensure that policies remain feasible, promotes long-term sustainability, encourages innovation and safeguards the industry's competitiveness.

Each year, FECC organizes an Annual Congress. The next one, which will take place in Warsaw in June 2017, is a key date in the European chemical industry’s
calendar. Hundreds of delegates, from business leaders to stakeholders, attend every year.
Highlights of the plenary programme include presentations on aspects of digitalization by Hans Ten Cate (Dow Corning), Peter Wilkes (Biesterfeld), Wofgang Falter and Peter Wirnsperger (both of Deloitte), and on social media by Joanne Stephenson (PHD Marketing and Strategy). Lectures by Götz Erhardt (Accenture), Ralph De Haan (KEMGO) and Bharat Bhardwaj (GoBuyChem.com) will focus on e-commerce, while Steffen Saecker (SAFECHEM) will discuss innovative business models.
