Sigma-Aldrich extends Materia deal

Ten more years distributing Grubbs catalyst

Sigma-Aldrich has announced an extension of its catalyst distribution agreement with Materia for a further ten years. Aldrich Chemical will thus continue to market Materia’s patented Grubbs catalyst to the chemicals, pharmaceuticals and polymer industries globally. In total, it distributes 15 Materia metathesis catalysts based on patents from the California Institute of Technology and others from Materia, Boston College, the University of Calgary and the University of New Orleans.
