Air Products buys ROVI

Cosmetics buy increases skin care offering
 

Air Products has acquired ROVI Cosmetics International GmbH, a Germany developer of cosmetic actives for hair and skin care and related delivery systems, on undisclosed terms. ROVI’s 18 employees will all transfer.

Air Products said that this “adds critical mass to our business as we develop into a differentiated specialty ingredient supplier to the personal care industry”. It currently offers the Intelimer brand of temperature switch polymers, Deposilk ‘functional-feel’ polymers and Hybridur urethane-acrylic interpenetrating network polymers.
