FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dow Launches Updated Keys to Chelation in Electronic Format
MIDLAND, Mich.—November 9, 2009—The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) announced today the release of the updated Keys to Chelation brochure. Dow’s longstanding role as a leader in the successful application of chelant-based solutions to trace metal problems has led to the compilation of Keys to Chelation, an in-depth reference guide to chelation chemistry. The new version has been completely updated and for the first time it is available in electronic format. The new interactive format allows users to identify the right chelant in a more efficient and effective way than previous editions allowed.
Keys to Chelation contains essential information such as the fundamentals of chelation chemistry and how to select the appropriate chelating agent for your metals issue. However, Keys to Chelation is more than just a guide to Dow Chelating Agents. It is an educational resource that describes how to diagnose metals problems, how to choose the right chelant or chelants to effectively bring problem metals under control and even provides an overview of the chemistry behind chelation and why EDTA and related chelants are effective answers to widespread and serious metals problems.
Copies of the updated Keys to Chelation can be obtained via www.versene.com or by contacting the Dow Customer Information Group at 1-800-447-4369.
